Eliminator Daytona

Eliminator Daytona

Bob Leach founded Eliminator Boats by customizing jet boats and rider cruisers, but it could be argued that the boat that put Eliminator on the proverbial map was the 19-foot Daytona, the first high-performance tunnel hull with a center pod. The original was a 19-foot tunnel hull with a center pod, and power was a V-drive with a big-block V-8 delivered to Eliminator Boats president Bob Leach. I’ve talked with Leach about this project in the past, and he knew that the whole West Coast industry was watching him when he ran this boat at speeds exceeding 100 mph on conventional power.
