In early December, Mercury Marine celebrated the casting of its 2.5-millionth stainless-steel propeller at its facility in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The propeller manufacturer also celebrated its 40th year in service. Mercury has produced many noteworthy propellers. The most recent is the Mercury Enertia ECO propeller, which boasts increases of up to 10 percent over conventional stainless-steel propellers.
