Jeanneau NC 1095 First Look

Get a quick look at the new Jeanneau NC 1095

In late July of 2018 we were invited to Annapolis, Maryland, by Jeanneau Boats to sea trial new, 2019 models on the Chesapeake Bay. In the course of doing so, we streamed this Facebook Live video and it proved very popular to our social media audiences. So popular was this video, we decided to publish it here on the website as well.

Bear in mind it was shot as a quick-and-dirty, live-streamed introduction to the NC 1095. It will serve as a preview for our full report on this boat, which will be published in the early fall.

Until we publish our complete test, here are some fast facts from our day on the water.

Tester Comment: “Direct access from the helm to the side deck is a welcome feature, and one typically found aboard larger vessels. Single-handing (And, many times I am singe-handing, even when there is crew aboard, if you know what I mean) this boat is made easier by such access as the captain can readily get a line ashore while staying within quick reach of the engine controls.

Also, with three separate staterooms belowdecks, the NC 1095 offers more private sleeping capacity than other boats of about the same size.

Finally, exterior views of the NC 1095. At our test site, she was docked such that pilings, lines and low-tide conspired to make shooting an overall exterior view difficult.
