Lube-Tech Opens Engine Testing Facility

Test-Tech is a new, state-of-the-art engine-testing service for engines up to 1,500 horsepower and includes cells designed for marine engines.

For more than 20 years Lube-Tech of Golden Valley, Minn., has offered engine-testing and fluid validation services to its private-label lubricant customers, which include a number of the major manufacturers in the marine engine business. Now Lube-Tech has launched a brand-new engine-testing facility, Test-Tech, committed to engine and fluid validation. In addition to testing and validating engine fluids, the new facility will be used during the fluid development process and also will be available for contract engine testing. This facility features 13 cells capable of testing engines up to 1,500 horsepower, and includes a 60-ton water cooler cell dedicated solely to outboard engine testing. The new facility is complete with advanced safety and security features that help protect customers' intellectual property.
