Founder of Stop Propeller Injuries Now (SPIN) and a true champion for many, many years advocating the use of engine cutoff switches and other measures to mitigate propeller strike injuries, Marion Irving deCruz died after a battle with cancer.

She was affectionately known as, Emilio’s Mom.
