FOND DU LAC, Wis. (July 11, 2016) – Mercury Marine is introducing a newly designed top cowl for its 8hp and 9.9hp FourStroke outboards, and has created exciting new graphics for its powerful but precise 9.9 Pro Kicker outboard.
The new top cowl shows off a contemporary and forward-looking design that aligns with current styling for Mercury Marine’s FourStroke outboard lineup. Mercury’s cowls are constantly evolving from a styling perspective and this new design reflects that evolution.
Likewise, the new graphics on the 9.9 Pro Kicker align with the new “Pro” series of Mercury Marine’s tournament-angling outboards and harmonizes with larger FourStrokes that typically provide the main power for competitive anglers. The decals for the standard 8.0 and 9.9 did not change.
The cowl and graphics changes to these engines are global and will be available to customers this summer.
