With a layout built around a lunch table in the aft deck that will seat five people (the captain’s chair swivels to become part of the ensemble), this affordable pontoon is all about relaxing afloat. It accommodates up to 12 people in all.
Seating includes a pair of chaise longues in the bow. Gates on both sides, at the bow and in the starboard quarter make for easy boarding. Marine carpet is standard, but you can opt for textured vinyl or the popular faux sea-grass decking. You can also order exterior LED accent lights for under the tubes to give your boat a cool look during evening cruises. A standard Bimini top shades the interior when you want to escape the sun during daylight hours.
In the stern area, the backrest on the forward dining seat pivots to become a bow-facing bench. Underneath is a cooler. Sun worshipers will love the sun deck across the stern. You’ll find plenty of storage for gear under every seat.
A Bluetooth-enabled four-speaker stereo system can fill this pontoon with the music of your choice, while an optional ski tow pylon lets you enjoy watersports. The aft swim platform, accessible via that gate in the starboard quarter we mentioned earlier, and boarding ladder invite the crew to take a dip. Order the optional Classic Edition to get a deluxe helm seat and steering wheel, LEDs under the console, graphics package, monochrome upholstery treatment and chrome docking lights. Powered by a Mercury 115 FourStroke, our boat posted a top speed slightly more than 29 mph. Optional hydraulic steering made handling a cinch.
With two adults on board, the Vectra 25 LT jumped on plane in 3.5 seconds and reached 20 mph in 5.5 seconds en route to our top speed of 29.3 mph at 5,400 rpm. Achieving over 4 mpg at 20.2 mph, you can cruise many miles before needing to stop to fill up the optional 29-gallon built-in fuel tank. For greater performance, consider the Speed package, which includes spray shields and lifting strakes for twin tubes.
