We tested the all-new Yamaha 222XD, one of seven new boats in the 22-foot series. The boats in this line are technology-rich, featuring Yamaha’s award-winning DRiVE dual-paddle control system, a floating Connext touchscreen inset in an all-new right-justified helm, and for the first time on a Yamaha boat, wireless charging.

We got onboard the Yamaha 275SDX to learn about and test the brand-new DRiVE X, an assisted docking technology—great for any boater but especially ideal for new boaters. Here’s how to operate it.

Yamaha’s new 222 FSH Sport E stacks up with numerous hybrid qualities—all wrapped in a sporty jet-boat body. This 22-footer is the premium model of three new center-consoles from Yamaha that incorporate many of the same angling features of the company’s larger 25-foot FSH models.

Yamaha’s RecDeck accessory packages are now available on both the VX and FX waverunner series. We’re walking you through what all three of these packages come with so you can decide which one is best for you and your crew.
