One of the fastest-growing poker runs in the Southeast, the Tickfaw 200 will take place at the Blood River Marina in Louisiana on the first weekend of May. Cards will be available at 10 different stops affiliated with the event on Friday and Saturday, and players turn in their best five cards for a chance at winning the poker hand. Cards must be turned in by 7 p.m. Entertainment will be provided all three nights of the event, and there will be plenty of boiled crawfish to go around at the Fun House at the marina, which hosts the event. All money raised will go to the local children’s Christmas fund.
