Most engine problems are related to decreased performance or not starting at all. These issues pop up with repeated use and deferred maintenance. However, sometimes a boater cuts corners in a rush to get on the water, and ends up ruining the whole day. If you’re like today’s Boating Fail, then that includes losing your outboard! Remember to always make sure your outboard motor is bolted on, and check those bolts regularly.
