BEP Wireless Remote

Control your lights and electronics wirelessly.

I once dated a girl who left me for a guy with a beach house featuring remote-controlled drapes. Well, now I have remote-controlled courtesy lights and electronics aboard Breakaway, my Regulator 23.

Simple terminal-block connections allowed me to wire in BEP’s wireless remote module to my battery switches, under-gunwale lights and the electronics panel’s power supply. With a press of the key fob, my boat is lit up and safer to board at night, and my GPS and radar — powered at the panel rather than with their onboard on/off switches — turn on and start warming up while I’m still walking down the dock.

The device operates up to four 5A circuits, but you’ll need to have electronic battery switches to impress guests while walking down the dock, unless your batteries are already on. I verified the claimed range of 250 feet. $129; bepmarine.com
