Dense fog and other harsh weather conditions can make a small craft invisible. This radar screen reflects radar directly back to an oncoming ship’s antenna. Featuring 12.5″-diameter circular reflector plates, the Echomaster can also be used to identify a dock or mooring and navigation hazards including bridges, rocks, or submerged trees. The aluminum plates are thick enough to minimize flex and dimpled to reduce angular distortion, while the injection-molded captive corner latches minimize angle error.

Thru-Hull Exhaust Port with Flapper $123; 800/422-1301, www.abimarine.com

Backwash in an open port can damage a boat’s exhaust system. Resolve the problem of releasing emissions without letting in water with this heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant, stainless-steel port, designed to fit hulls 3⁄8″ to 2 ¼”. The oil-resistant rubber flapper directs water away from the opening and, if needed, can be conveniently replaced from outside the hull. At only 3 ¼ pounds, the lightweight port’s NPT measures 2″ with a thread length of 2 ¾” and a barb length of 1 ¾”.
