Vetus-Rexroth Engine Controls From $1,491 • 410/712-0740 • Vetus claims that its electronic controls offer better performance than mechanical controls and are easier to install because there are no push-pull cables. These waterproof controls can be placed in a fully exposed area. Choose a single-engine application with a single throttle and gearshift handle or a configuration for two engines that incorporates the throttle and gearshift into twin levers.

ABI Track Lighting Fixtures from $25 • 800/422-1301 • Easy-to-mount track lighting features 12-volt light fixtures in a variety of styles and colors. The gooseneck, cone, or cylinder designs focus light where it’s needed and come in chrome, gold, black/chrome, gold/chrome, Titan Tuff, and white finishes. The tracks are available in black and white and in lengths of 2′ and 3′. The twist-and-pull design allows for easy placement of fixtures along the track.

The Prop-Aid fits over the end of an exposed driveshaft and into the through-hub exhaust ports of the prop, which lets it drive the outer prop assembly. It’s for temporary use in emergency situations, as it allows for low-speed operation. It fits most outboard and inboard/outboard motors and comes in three- and four-bladed models.

Dive-N-Dog Folding Stair $349 • 239/821-2362 • Both boater and dog friendly, this swim platform features a 2’5″-by-1’3″ platform that extends underwater at the bottom of the stairs and includes 1¼”-wide steps. Made of marine-grade stainless-steel construction, the platform can support 250 pounds with a solid backing plate mount. To retrieve it, just pull a handle to bring the stairs out of the water.
