This knife comes with a structured leather scabbard, a sharpener and boasts through-tang construction and a birch handle. The hand-ground stainless steel blade took and held a sharp edge during our season using it. It’s a relatively stiff fillet knife, which provides great control, but that same stiffness made it less than optimal for skinning filets.
