IMCO Marine (www.imcomarine.com) builds its SCX and SCX4 sterndrives to handle big power. Now the aftermarket accessories manufacturer has developed an adapter so that propellers with a 1 7/16-inch diameter shaft that would be used on a Mercury Racing NXT6 can be used on the IMCO SCX and SCX4 drives for test purposes. It lets a boat owner or mechanic test props until he finds the right one for a given application. Then the shaft can be upgraded. The kit comes complete with the shaft adapter and all required hardware for $518.
