WINNER, WINNER, FISH FOR DINNER

Congratulations to Jack Satterfield, winner of the Boating and Lowrance Custom Chart Contest

A big hearty congratulation goes out to Jack Satterfield, winner of the 2015 Boating and Lowrance Custom Chart Contest. Satterfield’s name was chosen at random from among 645 entries submitted on social media to win a Lowrance HDS-7 Gen2 Touch 83/200 with StructureScan – a $1,699 value.

Satterfield also receives a one-year subscription to Insight Genesis – the custom charting service available for his new HDS-7 Gen2 Touch multi-function display. That will come in handy as staffers from Boating and Lowrance Electronics join Satterfield to put his prizes to good use in creating a custom chart of one of Satterfield’s home waters – Boca Ciega Bay near St. Petersburg, Florida. Photos and chronicles of this process will form the basis for a feature story in a future issue of Boating magazine.

Satterfield is, by his own admission, a hard-core boating angler. His spends nearly everyday fishing in the waters off Tampa/St. Pete aboard one of three boats – his own Gause Built 26 or an 18-foot flats boat – or his nephew’s 29-foot Jupiter.

“I never win anything,” said Satterfield. “I really looking forward to learning and use the new system to catch some fish.”

Our thanks go out to Lowrance for its ongoing involvement in the 2015 Custom Chart Contest. We’ll keep you posted on how the charting process goes with our winner, Jack Satterfield.
