MasterCraft Boat Holdings introduced the Aviara brand in 2019 with a goal to modernize the luxury day boat category. Aviara models draw on MasterCraft’s 50-year legacy of engineering and quality, as well as partnerships with leading marine component manufacturers.
Aviara boats were initially manufactured in MasterCraft’s production facility in Vonore, Tennessee. Production transitioned to Merritt Island, Florida following the company’s purchase of the former Sea Ray production facility. The location offers over 140,000 square feet of manufacturing space and includes water access for testing.
Aviara models are available with two choices of power, sterndrive engines from ILMOR Marine or outboard motors from Mercury Marine.
Aviara provides a Limited Warranty to the original retail purchaser on all new models. Hull and structural components are warranted for as long as the original purchaser owns the boat, gel coat is covered for one year for stress crazing, electrical displays and screens not less than three years from in-service date or 600 hours of engine operation, SeaDek flooring and pads not less than two years from in-service date or 600 hours of engine operation, other components a period of five years from in-service date and trailer and trailer component parts for five years with exception of paint (one year).

Yes, Aviara boats are easy to maintain. Basic maintenance, including washing and waxing the fiberglass hull, flushing the engine (especially after use in saltwater), and cleaning and using protectant on vinyl surfaces will keep an Aviara boat looking like new for years to come. Boats left in the water should have hulls cleaned yearly to remove marine growth; anti-fouling paint on submerged areas of the hull should also be applied. Always follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule, including yearly engine service, to ensure reliable, safe operation. Factory-recommended service should be performed at an authorized Aviara dealer.
As dayboats by design, all Aviara models can be used for family outings as well as entertaining. Open floorplans offer abundant seating as well as amenities like wet bars with available sink, electric grill and refrigerator. Both the AV36 and AV40 can be used for overnighting and include air-conditioned cabins with berths, head compartments and refrigerators.
Aviara is sold exclusively in the United States through MarineMax, and available in over 70 locations. Find your local Aviara dealer here.
